Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will present in-home sales opportunities, build trust and educate customers about home improvement options, and effectively negotiate and close sales. You will need to manage project documentation timely and participate in sales and training meetings. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or GED, with a goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screen, credit check, and criminal check
- Basic computer skills
- Solid telephone skills
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Basic math skills (particularly making calculations using a Tape measure)
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills
- Strong work ethic
- Eager and willing to learn the proven sales process
Desired Qualifications
- Sales experience or training a plus (particularly in-home sales)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus
