Outside Sales Representative role with Carter Lumber focused on building and maintaining relationships with local contractors, builders, and remodelers, selling and managing projects from sale through completion, visiting job sites as needed, keeping up-to-date customer product usage data and trends, and applying proven sales strategies and strong communication to drive growth; office-based with field responsibilities in Byesville, OH area and opportunity for growth within a multi-brand, billion-dollar company.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in sales
- Knowledge of home building basics
- Create material estimates/quotes and special orders
- Open new accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Learn to read blueprints and provide material take off lists
- Ability to work independently
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Attend HBA/builder/company functions as required
