Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for BFS (Builders FirstSource), a leading supplier of building materials and services. Responsible for representing the company to customers, developing sales proposals, conducting presentations, identifying new opportunities, training/mentoring less experienced reps, and potentially acting as Sales Manager in the absence of the Sales Manager. Develops contracts for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects; troubleshoots field issues; conducts product demonstrations and product/service presentations; researches, identifies, and solicits new customers; maintains ongoing customer communications about products and services; may provide training to junior Outside Sales Reps; adheres to safety procedures; drives to customer locations and maintains strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience
- Valid driver’s license
