Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative at Builders FirstSource (BFS) responsible for managing complex customer sales cycles from lead to close, developing and presenting tailored product demonstrations, drafting sales contracts for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects, and training/mentoring less experienced sales staff. Requires in-depth product and industry knowledge, the ability to identify customer needs, coordinate with internal design/technical teams, maintain strong client relationships, and meet sales goals through effective presentations and proactive outreach; field-based duties include traveling to customer sites and maintaining safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license
