Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative at Builders FirstSource. Responsible for representing the company to customers, collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, developing sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects, and liaising between inside technical/design staff and customers. Will conduct sales presentations, identify and solicit new customers, maintain knowledge of products and services, and participate in leadership activities such as chairing meetings and training less experienced staff. Must understand safety procedures, plan work to meet productivity goals, and be able to travel to customer locations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or related field with two years of sales experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license
