Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for Builders FirstSource in the professional building materials market. Responsibilities include representing BFS to complex customers, participating in training and development of less experienced sales staff (potential to act as Sales Manager in absence), developing sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects, troubleshooting field issues, delivering sales presentations and demonstrations, researching and soliciting new customers, maintaining knowledge of products and industry, and providing ongoing communication to customers on BFS products and services. Requires in-depth product knowledge, strong presentation and communication skills, ability to manage multiple opportunities, and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
