Outside Sales Representative

Outside Sales Representative at Builders FirstSource responsible for representing the company with complex customers, identifying needs and design specifications, and developing sales proposals. Leads in training less experienced staff, conducts professional demonstrations, delivers sales presentations, researches and solicits new customers, and expands opportunities across residential, multi-family, and commercial projects. Requires in-depth product knowledge, strong presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to train others, and the capability to manage multiple customer engagements. Travel to customer locations, adherence to safety procedures, and collaboration with internal teams are expected. A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field with two years of sales experience (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license are required. The role is located in Middletown, Delaware, with in-office work expectations.
