Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative responsible for engaging with large or complex customers, collecting data on client needs, developing sales proposals and contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects, and acting as liaison between customer and internal technical staff. The role includes leading or training less experienced sales staff, may serve as Sales Manager in the manager’s absence, delivering effective sales presentations, researching and soliciting new customers, and ensuring knowledge of products, services and safety procedures. Requires strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, the ability to meet sales goals, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to customer locations and field sites is involved; participates in training programs to expand product and industry knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Office Suite
