Outside Sales Representative (Base plus Commission)

Outside Sales Representative for Hood Distribution in High Point, NC, covering Northern North Carolina, West Virginia, Southeast West Virginia and East Tennessee territory. Responsibilities include generating sales of wood and wood products to wholesale and end-user commercial customers within a defined territory, developing effective business relationships with customers, meeting customer needs by providing needed products and establishing high quality and customer responsiveness expectations, coordinating outside sales efforts with inside sales reps, ensuring the inside sales force is aware of customer service or quality issues that could affect business, supporting existing and new customers in receiving credit approvals or resolving accounts receivables questions, and investigating and resolving customer complaints.
