Job Summary
Outside Sales Representative for Medical/Laboratory Gas Pipeline Equipment responsible for driving sales to healthcare facilities, contractors, and engineering firms. Develop and execute sales strategies for medical and laboratory gas pipeline equipment (outlets, manifolds, alarms, zone valve boxes, and source equipment), identify new opportunities in hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, laboratories, colleges, universities, and other healthcare facilities, build and maintain relationships with contractors, distributors, engineers, architects, and facility managers, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through order placement and post-sale support, collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure accurate specifications and successful project execution, provide technical consultative support, maintain opportunity tracking and CRM reporting, stay current on NFPA and related codes, represent the company at industry events, meet or exceed sales targets, and travel within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-7+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical gas systems, healthcare construction, or industrial equipment
- Strong understanding of medical/laboratory gas pipeline systems and healthcare facility environments
- Proven ability to manage long-cycle, project-based sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications (preferred)
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
