Job Summary
Conduct on-site compressed air and vacuum system assessments to identify inefficiencies for manufacturing, healthcare, and municipal clients. Develop tailored solutions including nitrogen generators and chillers, then prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals on capital equipment. Identify new business through cold calling, networking, and in-person prospecting while maintaining an accurate CRM pipeline. Collaborate with engineering and service teams on custom specifications. This role covers northwest Pennsylvania and northeast Ohio, requiring a valid driver's license and residence within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience with a proven record of hitting or exceeding targets
- Comfortable and confident with cold calling
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage a territory independently and hold yourself accountable
- Valid driver's license
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the territory
Desired Qualifications
- Background in industrial or technical sales — compressed air, fluid power, HVAC, or related fields
- Familiarity with compressed air systems, vacuum equipment, or rotating machinery
- Experience reading mechanical drawings or blueprints
- Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, sales, engineering, or a related field
