Job Summary
Lead territory growth as an Outside Sales Rep for United Rentals by maximizing revenue from facilities and construction sites within a defined geographic area. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and subsidiary companies, prospect and qualify new accounts (including competitor accounts), collaborate with specialty division representatives to promote cross-selling, develop sales action plans, deliver presentations of products and services, and manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, strategic planning, and negotiation skills, with a preference for knowledge of construction equipment and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of sales experience
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Knowledge of construction or related equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
