Job Summary
Meet with existing and prospective customers within the West Texas territory to discuss product needs, take inventory, and generate quotations. Manage assigned territory to achieve sales plans while maintaining strong customer relationships and service levels. Create daily call reports, initiate customer routes, and finalize orders with the internal sales team. Deliver products as needed and attend trade shows or seminars. Requires 75% travel including occasional overnight trips to Tyler, with a company vehicle and allowances provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of retail sales experience in the hardware industry
- Valid Driver's License
- Availability for overnight travel
- Able to operate a motor vehicle safely
- Able to lift 70 pounds
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows Operating System
