Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries; assess customer needs through consultation and analysis to sell pest management solutions and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians to identify revenue streams and develop proposals for resolving existing issues while enhancing household services. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals to close sales, and provide expert knowledge for new service installations. Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s) while operating a motor vehicle and adhering to physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs and working in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
