Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entry points, then sell pest management solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers. Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, develop proposals for existing issues, and close sales opportunities. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals, and provide expert knowledge to new service installations. Safely operate a motor vehicle, lift up to 20 lbs, and work in confined spaces while adhering to physical demands and safety protocols. Travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories to serve the community.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
