Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entry points, then sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers. Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, while developing proposals to resolve existing issues and propose service enhancements. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals to close sales, and provide expert knowledge for new service installations. Perform daily sales activities using the company CRM, travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories, and safely operate a motor vehicle. This role requires lifting up to 20 lbs, navigating confined spaces, and working with various pests. Top performers earn over $100,000 annually with an uncapped commission structure.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
