Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries, then assess customer needs to sell pest management solutions and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, develop proposals for existing issues, and close sales opportunities. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals, and provide expert knowledge for new service installations. Safely operate a motor vehicle while traveling up to 100% of the time within your assigned territory, performing physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs and navigating confined spaces. Maintain daily sales performance metrics using the company CRM. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Ability to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to go up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to keep balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
- Comfort dealing with different pests (spiders, flies, mosquitos, rodents, etc.)
- Ability to work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, attics, etc.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to regularly work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
