Job Summary
Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entry points, then sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers. Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to identify revenue streams, develop proposals for existing issues, and close sales opportunities. Complete home diagrams in the Sales CRM, follow up on past proposals, and provide expert knowledge for new service installations. Ensure all equipment is kept clean and safely operated while working in confined spaces, crawl spaces, and narrow aisles. Travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in sales
- At least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
