Outside Sales Millwork Specialist

Job Summary
Outside Sales Millwork Specialist drives sales of millwork products to builders and subcontractors by establishing relationships, presenting product lines, taking off measurements from blueprints, visiting job sites, and preparing estimates to ensure on-time orders. Responsibilities include developing customer and subcontractor relationships, attaining sales targets for interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware, giving product feature/benefit presentations, and leveraging Microsoft Office tools for quotations and order tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous knowledge and experience selling Millwork products including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware
- Experience in other building materials helpful
- Ability to cold call future customers and to grow relationships with existing customers
- Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs
- Ability to go to job sites to measure doors and trim
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and improve profitability
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of customer service
- Decision making abilities and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
