Outside Sales Engineer

Outside Sales Engineer to drive revenue for selling steam boilers, heating hot water (HHW) and domestic hot water (DHW) systems, plus related equipment and services. Responsibilities include developing new business opportunities across commercial/industrial markets, building relationships with mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, facility managers and plant engineers; conducting site visits to evaluate system needs; preparing quotes, proposals, and bid packages for boiler installations and retrofits; collaborating with internal service and engineering teams on system design and specifications; promoting service agreements and maintenance programs; managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale support; maintaining CRM pipelines and forecasts. Product focus areas include Steam Boilers (high & low pressure), HHW systems, DHW systems, condensing/non-condensing boilers, boiler accessories/controls, and packaged/skid-mounted systems. Preferred experience with boilers/thermal systems, knowledge of ASME codes, emissions standards, safety regulations, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and familiarity with boiler manufacturers. Role is hybrid (office + field sales) with frequent visits to industrial plants, mechanical rooms, and construction sites. Requires strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and ability to read mechanical plans; base salary range is $95,000–$105,000 per year, with potential discretionary bonuses; US work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
