Job Summary
Outside Sales Engineer role based in Castro Valley, CA, responsible for selling DMG distribution products to select accounts, promoting the product lines represented, advising on proper application and selection of HVAC equipment, providing technical support, and maintaining relationships with customers and manufacturers; requires 5-7 years of direct outside sales experience in HVAC/construction, with a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree preferred; periodic travel for training, industry meetings, and customer entertainment; compensation $80-$120k annually DOE with a generous commission structure.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of direct outside sales experience
- HVAC and/or Construction Experience
- Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree preferred, but will consider equivalent direct industry related job experience
- Customer service and sales driven
- Solid interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Successful negotiator
- Thrives in a fast paced, multi-task environment
