Job Summary
Outside Sales Consultant role based in Montgomery, AL (field-based) responsible for traveling to pre-set or self-generated residential appointments, conducting in-home consultations and product demonstrations, presenting Windows USA products with approved pricing, and managing quotes and customer information via CRM/tools. Requires 2+ years in outside commission-based sales (home improvement preferred), strong closing skills, ability to work evenings/weekends, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to travel ~90 miles, and physical requirements for measurements and demonstrations. Includes health benefits as employee while operating under 1099 tax status; uncapped commission earning potential with top performers earning substantial annual income.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, home improvement preferred
- Strong closing skills in a consultative, in-home environment
- Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable
- Comfortable using technology, including iPads and CRM platforms
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Willingness to travel within assigned market, typically within a 90-mile radius
- Criminal background check required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for measurements and quoting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
