Job Summary
Outside Sales Consultant travels to pre-set or self-generated in-home residential appointments to present Windows USA products, deliver quotes, and support same-day buying decisions. Responsibilities include in-home consultations and product demonstrations, using approved pricing/tools/materials, accurate measurements, completing sales documentation, and maintaining a customer-focused sales process. Proficient use of iPads and CRM to manage customer information and proposals; maintain a schedule of 15+ weekly appointments, including evenings and weekends; attend regular meetings and training; travel within a 90-mile radius for field-based sales in Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas. Requires commission-based earnings with uncapped potential (top performers historically earning $150,000 to $300,000+ annually), and meeting background check requirements; role involves in-home visits, ladder use, and measuring/product demonstrations, with health benefits available as part of the employee benefits offering.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
- Experience in home improvement preferred
- Strong closing skills in a consultative, in-home environment
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Willingness to travel within assigned market, typically within a 90-mile radius
- Criminal background check required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for measurements and quoting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders as needed
