Job Summary
Outside Sales Consultant travels to pre-scheduled or self-generated in-home appointments with homeowners to present Windows USA products, deliver quotes, and support same-day buying decisions. Utilizes iPads and CRM tools, conducts in-home consultations and product demonstrations, and maintains the sales pipeline while aiming for 15+ weekly appointments including evenings and weekends. Requires proven outside, commission-based sales experience with strong closing ability in a home-improvement context, professional demeanor, and the ability to work in a field-based, residential setting within the Albany, GA market. The role offers uncapped earning potential and benefits eligibility as an employee while maintaining 1099 tax status, with ongoing training and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of outside, commission-based sales experience
- Experience in home improvement preferred
- Strong closing skills in a consultative, in-home environment
- Professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable
- Comfortable using technology (iPads and CRM platforms)
- Criminal background check required
- Ability to travel within assigned market (approx. 90-mile radius)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
- Measuring and quoting skills
- Willingness to travel to residential locations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
