Job Summary
The Outside Sales Associate will work closely with an experienced Traditional Sales Representative for 18 - 24 months to receive comprehensive training in sales within the high-end building materials industry, focusing on commercial roofing. The role requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, and a commitment to a year-long training program. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 with base salary plus commission potential, and benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, a pension plan, and support for continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers’ license
- Interest in participating in the year-long training program
- Proven record of effort-driven success in a sales environment
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS) preferred
- Practical computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Prior experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
