Job Summary
Outside Sales Account Manager for Multi-Family Housing Accounts responsible for selling MRO supplies and related products to an established portfolio of multi-family housing customers to drive sales. Develops and sustains sales relationships with key decision makers, manages sales volume with existing customers, prospecting new accounts, and increasing opportunities within the customer base. Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned Pasadena, CA territory. Requires operation of a Company Vehicle or Personal Vehicle and may involve overnight travel. The role includes remote work within California, with tasks such as attending local trade shows and monthly company meetings, and collaboration across channels. Key skills include direct sales to multi-family communities and facilities maintenance customers, consultative/solution selling, proficiency with MS Excel and Salesforce (or similar CRM), ability to meet sales goals, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Must reside in the territory; MVR check will be performed. Education: BS/BA in related field; typically 2-5 years of related experience (MS/MA possible).
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in related discipline
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field
- Certification is required in some areas (where applicable in CA, CO, CT, D.C., HI, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OH, RI, VT, WA)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote position
