Job Summary
Account Manager (Field/Outside Sales) to promote and facilitate the sale of industrial supplies to core and target accounts within the Phoenix, AZ metro area. Develop territory plans, call upon and visit customer sites daily to assess needs and promote product lines, coordinate with branch managers and company personnel, manage stock and inventory considerations with Inventory Control, and foster strong relationships with mine-level personnel across industrial MRO categories (e.g., hydraulic hose and fittings, safety products, gas detection, breathing apparatus). Requires 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience, strong communication skills, CRM proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel overnight; compensation includes industry-competitive pay and benefits.”
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred with preference given to business, marketing, sales, mechanical, engineering or similar field of study
- 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience is required
- Experience selling into mining customers is a great plus!
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn and effectively use a CRM
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Overnight travel may be required
