Job Summary
Field/outside sales Account Manager role promoting industrial supplies to core and target accounts in the Shinnston, WV metropolitan area. Responsibilities include market planning and research to identify opportunities within each territory; promoting product lines to branch personnel and core/target accounts; developing action plans to capture major market share; calling on and visiting customer sites daily to determine needs, take orders, promote product offerings, and foster relationships with mine-level personnel; coordinating with Inventory Control on stock levels and obsolete inventory; ensuring customer satisfaction and ongoing sales growth across assigned territory. Qualifications include HS Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred in business/marketing/sales/mechanical/engineering or related field, 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience, ability to travel overnight, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM; valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred with preference given to business, marketing, sales, mechanical, engineering or similar field of study
- 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience is required
- Experience selling into mining customers is a great plus!
- Track record of progressive sales accomplishments
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn and effectively use a CRM
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Overnight travel may be required
