Job Summary
Outside Sales Account Manager role in the Dallas, TX market seeking a driven sales professional to combine technical Fluid Power expertise with strategic sales to develop new OEM, Capital Project, and MRO accounts. Responsible for driving sales growth, winning new business, developing target accounts, understanding customer needs, delivering compelling proposals and quotations, negotiating for value, ensuring responsive service, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining CRM activity. Must leverage technical and business insights to tailor solutions, travel as needed, and participate in ongoing training. Strong communication, planning, and negotiation skills are required; a Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Engineering or a 2-year Fluid Power technical degree is preferred. Overnight travel may be required; valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering OR 2-year technical degree in Fluid Power is preferred
- 3+ years of industrial sales experience
- 2+ years in Fluid Power sales is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Automation or Motion Control a plus
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Consultative, value-added sales approach
- Excellent communication, planning, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and competitive
Desired Qualifications
