Job Summary
Conduct exploratory conversations with small businesses to understand payroll needs and identify how ConnectPay's value proposition meets their solutions. Meet with prospective clients in the greater Phoenix, AZ territory to build pipeline, qualify opportunities, and negotiate new business. Collect documentation required for converting payroll data from previous providers to the ConnectPay platform while maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity metrics. Develop referral programs with local community influencers and business leaders. This field-based role supports ConnectPay's mission to simplify payroll processes for small and medium-sized businesses through personalized, human-first service.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience in a competitive quota, results-driven environment
- Experience with hunting/prospecting in an outside sales environment
- Successful track record at nurturing, managing and developing a defined sales territory
- Possess strong and polished professional communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems and internet/social medial platforms
- Track record of high achievement
- Bachelor's degree in finance, marketing, or related field a plus
