Job Summary
Conduct jobsite visits, customer meetings, and equipment demonstrations to build relationships and capture local rental growth. Identify new projects and accounts while deepening ties with existing clients. Transform customer needs into solutions through fast, accurate quotes and professionally negotiated rental terms. Own the customer process from quote through delivery and pickup by coordinating with inside rental, dispatch, service, and billing teams. Track opportunities in CRM, protect margins through value selling, and share competitive market insights with leadership. Maintain a high-activity field rhythm using a company laptop, cell phone, and tax-free vehicle reimbursement. Requires 2+ years of outside sales experience in construction or rental, working knowledge of construction equipment, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of successful outside sales experience in construction, rental, or a related industry
- Working knowledge of construction equipment and its applications
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
- Comfort using ERP or CDK systems, Microsoft Office, and CRM applications
- A valid driver's license, clean motor vehicle record, and ability to work in outdoor conditions
- A self-starting, competitive, goal-oriented approach with a team-first mindset
- Background and motor vehicle record checks
