Job Summary
Outside Property Associate Claim Representative at Travelers. Provides training in claim handling, customer service, and policy interpretation while developing skills to manage 1st party property claims. Responsibilities include reviewing and documenting claims under supervision, gathering information from policyholders and witnesses, determining coverage for building damages, establishing scope for estimates, maintaining timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders, and recording activity in claim-management systems. Requires ongoing learning, adapting to AI/digital tool rollouts, and the ability to access and inspect property sites. Must obtain relevant Insurance License(s) within three months. Remote-based with work across residential/commercial locations and potential travel within the assigned Virginia territory (Chantilly, Reston, Springfield, Manassas, Ashburn).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Requirements
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory
