Outside Plant Staff

Outside Plant (OSP) Inspector on-site role serving as the company and client liaison to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications and permitting requirements. Responsibilities include inspecting cable, duct, and related facilities, reviewing routes with customers, verifying property boundaries, maintaining accurate daily logs and Fieldmaps records, and communicating findings to the VPS Resident. Role emphasizes field-operations discipline, documentation, and adherence to contract requirements; progression path toward Residency after demonstrated performance. Equipment and materials in possession include Fieldmaps, Smartsheet tools, forms, and standard PPE; daily/weekly reporting, permit compliance, and coordination with contractors and landowners are core duties.
