Outside Plant Staff

Outside Plant (OSP) Inspector role on construction projects as the on-site representative for Vantage Point Solutions and clients. Responsible for inspecting cable routes and installations to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and permitting requirements; monitor contractor performance; maintain accurate records; and communicate with the Resident. Progression path available from Inspector to Resident after demonstrating performance. Daily and weekly duties include field inspections, depth checks, use of Fieldmaps/Smartsheet/Fieldmaps updates, permit verification, record-keeping of cable sequences, reel numbers, installed units, and status reporting. Must manage equipment and materials on-site (flags, safety gear, measurement tools, Megger, etc.), coordinate with contractors, and ensure proper documentation and cleanup per project guidelines.
