Job Summary
Outside Plant Engineer Specialist III responsibilities include managing internal and external partners and vendors to oversee OSP/ISP construction and maintenance of fiber network expansion projects, leading engineering efforts across multiple projects, coordinating with contractors, municipalities and consultants, performing cost analyses and preparing project specifications and forecasts, and ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities, with proficiency in CAD, GIS tools, route mapping, and data reporting. Travel up to ~25% and a hybrid work arrangement with minimum three days in the office. Education/experience: Associate’s degree or 2+ years of work experience; 3+ years of relevant experience; preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical fields. Location: Lewis Center, OH; salary range $74,500–$122,000; travel and driver’s license required. In this hybrid role, you’ll split time between home and office with a defined work location.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience
- Three or more years of relevant experience
- Experience in CAD, 3GIS, ARCGIS, Google Earth or other mapping and drafting software
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
- Valid Driver's license
