Job Summary
Conduct frequent visits to an assigned book of business to prospect for new customers and develop long-term relationships with both prospective accounts and established loyal customers. Communicate parts orders and customer needs to appropriate local partners, then follow up on orders to ensure customers have been served properly. Turn in reports, documentation, and expenses in a timely manner while updating customer records to reflect changes to names and addresses. Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership and attend training seminars when possible. This role supports Hill International Trucks' growth in New Philadelphia, OH, with an OTE potential of $70,000-100k+ including uncapped commission.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Must be knowledgeable of the local area of responsibility
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Windows-based computer systems
- Ability to commute/relocate to New Philadelphia, OH
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts
- At least 2 years of prior B2B experience
- Ability to close sales with all levels of customers from fleet executives to single owner-operators
- Ability to uncover customer needs and timeline in a consultative manner and match those needs with the features and benefits of a particular product and appropriate service expectations
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding time management and organization
- Experience managing leads and opportunities within a customer database or CRM system (ACT)
- Bachelors degree
