Outside Parts Account Manager

Visit assigned customers and prospect for new accounts. Communicate parts orders to the counter, confirming stock status and delivery dates with customers. Review special orders with the parts manager for approval and obtain pricing authorization. Advise counter personnel on delivery instructions and follow up to ensure proper service. Coordinate service sales with salespeople, turn in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports, and update customer records. Add new customers to mailing lists and attend training seminars. Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership while maintaining a professional appearance.
