Job Summary
AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking Full Time External Mortgage Loan Originators responsible for selling mortgage loans outside of its offices. Candidates will generate new business through relationships with real estate professionals and actively participate in sales activities. Duties include gathering borrower information, pre-qualifying borrowers, advising them on loan options, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with mortgage regulations. Successful candidates must possess relevant experience and the appropriate licenses, alongside strong communication and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the Mortgage Industry
- Appropriate state license or certificate
- Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
- Working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA
- Familiarity with local, state, and national laws
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze financial information
- Sales-oriented self-starter
