Job Summary
Conduct outside sales and relationship management for existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory in Garland, TX. Research industry and market trends, identify prospective customers, and develop sales strategies highlighting Gordon Food Service products and solutions. Visit customers weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to conduct business reviews, provide product training, and coordinate order status updates. Balance new customer acquisition with deepening existing relationships while managing territory logistics. Requires a valid driver's license, food safety certification, and one year of sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid state driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to obtain food safety certification
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Must be able to obtain a letter of support from customer management if the candidate works for a Gordon Food Service customer
