Job Summary
Outside Food Sales Representative responsible for the overall sales and relationship management for an assigned Florida territory. Duties include pursuing new customers, deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships, and managing the sales territory. Candidates will visit customers on a set cadence (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly), conduct business reviews to identify growth opportunities, provide ongoing training on Gordon Food Service product offerings, and develop sales strategies that highlight products and solutions. The role includes participating in a structured training program during the first 90 days to learn company systems, products, and the sales process. Industry knowledge in food service/restaurants and strong relationship-building skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Valid, unrestricted state driver's license
- Ability to obtain food safety certification
