Job Summary
Outside Food Sales Representative for Gordon Food Service in Boynton Beach, FL (also serving Jupiter and Tequesta). Responsible for cultivating relationships, developing new business, and managing sales within the assigned territory. Tasks include pursuing new customers, deepening existing relationships, conducting business reviews, providing ongoing product training, developing sales strategies to present to prospective customers, and coordinating visits to customers on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Training during the first 90 days covers company systems, products, sales processes, relationship building within the network, and best practices for territory management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED is required
- Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred
- 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
- Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to obtain your food safety certification
