Job Summary
Outreach Worker for Port Augusta PAYSTS, a casual part-time role delivering late-evening and night outreach, safe transport, and mentoring to young people aged 5–18 who may be at risk. Responsibilities include providing a safe, supportive presence, transporting youth to homes/services/locations of safety, building respectful relationships, helping youth access services, mentoring, risk, safety and wellbeing assessments, maintaining case notes and reports, and supporting group activities within the Youth Services Model of Care. Requires a valid driver’s licence and Working with Children Check; First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and Through Their Eyes training are noted. Shifts include Tuesday–Thursday 7:00pm–10:30pm and Friday–Saturday 6:00pm–2:30am. Benefits include NFP salary packaging options, EAP, and an inclusive workplace culture.
