Job Summary
Field-based Outreach Specialist and Licensed Medicare Sales Representatives for Medicare Open Enrollment in NYC. Responsibilities: conduct outreach at community events, educate prospective members about Medicare plan options, assist individuals with the Medicare enrollment process, travel to outreach locations across NYC boroughs, and represent the organization professionally while ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines. Requires active NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance License; strong communication/customer service; ability to work independently in a field setting; bilingual candidates preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Russian); valid NYS driver’s license a plus. Pay rate $42 per hour; Employment Type: Contract / Full-Time (Medicare Open Enrollment Support). Benefits provided. Location: New York, NY (onsite field work in NYC).
Required Qualifications
- Active NYS Life, Accident & Health Insurance License (required)
- Minimum 2 years of managed care or healthcare experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Must maintain valid license and continuing education requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual candidates preferred: Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Russian
