Outreach & Retention Specialist (Youth ) - Queens

Job Summary
Establish relationships with community partners, conduct information sessions, and facilitate onboarding for youth aged 16–24 through the Queens Train and Earn Career Pathways Program. Support DYCD case managers in maintaining participant retention, provide trauma-informed case management services, and serve as a liaison between staff, families, and service providers. Ensure timely documentation of outreach activities, track recruitment targets, and collaborate with the Program Director to develop campaign strategies. Work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm in Long Island City, Queens.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- at least two (2) years of successful and relevant experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with people with disabilities/youth
- ability to work collaboratively with other Managers and Employment & Community Service Coordinators to develop and maintain sites, disseminate information, and provide top quality customer service to all EBS customers
- skills and personality to forge relationships with Out of School Out of Work (OSOW) youth
- strong community connections
- ability to be a credible messenger
