Job Summary
Registers and performs various radiographic exams including phlebotomy and EKG according to established protocols. Demonstrates competence in assessing patients across varying ages and disabilities. Performs quality exams, adheres to radiation safety guidelines, understands patient history, and manages documentation in HIS/RIS systems. Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and up to one year of experience. Must maintain current ARRT Registry and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a (JRCERT) accredited Radiologic Technology Program recognized by the ARRT
- Zero (0) to one (1) year of experience as a Radiographic Technologist
- Complete on the job phlebotomy and registration training
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education
- Strong leadership ability
- Good organizational skills
- Independent and critical thinking skills
- Sound judgment
- Knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of specialized phlebotomy training program
- Experience working in an ambulatory outpatient setting
- Experience in Healthcare setting
