Job Summary
Develop and manage partnerships with community organizations, school districts, and workforce agencies to expand academic pathways for prospective students. Collaborate with admissions, advising, and academic leadership to support recruitment initiatives, enrollment strategies, and the implementation of grant-funded workforce and education programs. Represent the College of Community Engagement & Professions at recruitment events and community meetings while tracking outcomes to drive continuous improvement. This 12-month, fixed renewable academic staff position is primarily on-site at UWM's main campus, reporting to the Dean of the College of Community Engagement & Professions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related academic discipline
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in outreach, recruitment, workforce development, or community engagement
- Experience building relationships between internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in academic leadership, administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years working in PK-12 and/or university settings
- Minimum 3 years of experience building relationships between schools, university, and community partners
- Experience working in or collaborating with urban-serving school districts and community partners
- Knowledge of educator preparation pathways and licensure processes
