Job Summary
The Outreach Intake Coordinator for HousingPlus is responsible for managing referrals and intake tasks for the Justice Works program, ensuring compliance with eligibility requirements. This includes reviewing all referrals, updating occupancy reports, and maintaining communication with community agencies. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and technical proficiency with data management software. Ideal candidates should possess outreach and intake work experience, particularly with marginalized populations, and demonstrate commitment to ethical standards and trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- High School Diploma with 5+ years of related intake experience
- 3-5 years experience in social services and/or nonprofit services
Desired Qualifications
- Outreach and intake work experience with women experiencing homelessness
- Understanding of housing first, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care
- Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills
- Competent technology & management skills including Microsoft Office and client database management systems
