Job Summary
Host bilingual events at the Materials Reuse facility to share program benefits and encourage community participation. Translate marketing materials and website content, while communicating with Spanish-speaking participants to answer questions and provide support. Lead outreach strategy by creating and executing initiatives that expand reuse participation among Latino families, veterans, seniors, women, and low-income households. Represent the organization at community events across the Front Range, managing planning, setup, breakdown, and participant engagement. Build partnerships with contractors, tradespeople, labor groups, and nonprofit organizations to increase waste diversion and donations. Review requests for donations or discounts, facilitate tracking of needs-based funding, and support the approval process. Maintain a welcoming environment that ensures everyone feels valued and included.
Required Qualifications
- Completely fluent in Spanish and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
- At least 2 years of experience leading community outreach or mission-driven programs
- Technical proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated accountability to manage budgets, timelines, logistics, reporting, performance tracking, and work effectively with others for smooth program execution
- Experience building partnerships with municipalities or community organizations to support program impact
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation for travel to off-site events and meetings across the Front Range, including weekends
- Must pass and maintain a clean background check and driving record if offered the position
Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with trades and construction industries, including basic knowledge of construction, deconstruction, building trades, or reuse practices that help reduce waste
