Job Summary
Outreach Engagement Specialist in Brooklyn (NYC) focused on recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining Non-Traditional Sites to expand access to safer sex materials; deliver 100 safer sex products to 140 active NTS partners monthly; conduct HIV prevention education and rapid HIV/Hepatitis C testing; provide warm hand-offs to housing, health, and support services; plan and participate in outreach events across NYC; ensure NYC DOHMH protocol compliance, data entry in DOHMH systems, and thorough documentation; engage priority populations at nontraditional venues (e.g., nightlife, sex parties, pop-up events) and drive community outreach, advocacy, and referral activities. Responsibilities also include documenting encounters, logs, and referrals per contract standards and supporting department activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/equivalent
- 2 Year degree in Human Service, Liberal Arts (Preferred)
