Job Summary
Conduct direct intervention and case management for children, youth, and families referred by the MA Department of Children and Families, providing emotional, behavioral, and psychological support while navigating their challenges. Perform work within the community and homes of clients, responding to crises with in-person and telephone interventions. Establish professional communication with DCF and community partners to coordinate treatment services and organize recreational activities, informal counseling, and life skills training. Participate in intakes, review, and discharge meetings with clinical staff, completing case documentation and maintaining communication regarding important case information. Work rotating daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as part of a treatment team, utilizing a valid driver's license for extensive daily driving.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related human services field
- one year of human service experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state driver's license
- legally registered and insured car for daily work use
